Overview

Windows Live Writer makes it easy to share your photos and videos on almost any blog service. With Writer, you can preview everything you’re adding to your blog, and see exactly how the fonts, spacing, colors, and images will look, before you publish. It’s fast and easy to make photos and videos look great on your blog. You can even create a photo album—just select the style you want and Writer takes care of the rest. Writer is already packed with useful features, but if you like to tinker, there are all sorts of plug-ins you can add to help you do even more.

To get start you need to firstly download the Windows Live Writer. It can be found at

There is a link that says download. Click on that link and you should see it trying to download a file called

wlsetup-web.exe

Download this file and then run the file. You will get the follow screen.

Installing Windows Live Writer 1

Ensure that the tick box for the Writer is ticked. The rest are not relevant to this installation guide.

Thereafter click the install button at the bottom right.

The installer then connects up to Microsofts Servers and downloads the Windows Live Writer for you.

You will see a progress of the installation while it installs. Let it complete the installation before continuing with this guide.

Once it is completed, your next next is adding your blog details to the Windows Live Writer application. For this, you will then need the login details for your website. If you do not have them yet, email us at

asking for your website login details. We will then email you those details, so that you can add pages and edit pages to your hearts content.  1 thing to always remember when using the Windows Live Writer, is that changes you make to your site happen immediately, so if you change and then realise you made a mistake, you will have to contact us, and we can see if we can retrieve the lost content.
